Summer Reading Programs
June 19 - July 29

Sign-Up Begins June 12th -17th, All Day.

Children and Teen Program:  Sign up for the Library’s Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is ‘Build a Better World’. You can ‘Build a Better World’ through reading and participating in library activities. Ages: 2-18

Adult Program:  Join the Adult Summer Reading Program and help us build a better library catalog with reviews written by you. To participate in the program, sign up at the front desk and review the books you check out. For every review you submit, you will be entered into a drawing for a Kindle or a Tapistry Brewing Company gift certificate. 

Job Opening -- Custodian
The library is taking applications for the position of part-time custodian.  15 hours a week, 5 days a week, early mornings. $10 per hour.  Successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys cleaning.  Applications accepted at the circulation desk during regular library hours.  Open until filled.

Evening Story Hour Wednesdays

June 7 – August 30 at 6:00 p.m. This summer we are excited to offer family story hour every Wednesday night! Join us in the Bridgman Public Library Story House for stories, songs, and activities. Ages 2-5. 

Garden Club - Every Tuesday

June 20 - Aug 15 at 1:00 pm at Garden or Community Room Ages 8-12, Register at the front desk; Learn about organic gardening through hands on participation. Later in the season try some delicious recipes using veggies from your garden

Mafia : The Card Game

Wednesday, June 28th at 1p.m. Teen Program. Register at the front desk. Mafia is a ga.m.e that involves a lot of strategy and bluffing. The object of the ga.m.e is to eliminate the mafia before they eliminate the entire town.

Sand Pirate

Thursday, June 29 at 11 a.m. Grade: 1-8. register at the front desk. at Weko Beach to learn how to build a fantastic sand Castle.

Friends Book and Bake Sale

Early Bird Book Sale: Thursday, July 6, 5 - 7:30 p.m. 

Friday, July 7, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Saturday, July 8, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Come to the Friends of the Bridgman Public Library’s Annual Used Book and Bake Sale at the library during Bridgman Days. Early Bird Book Sale admission is $3 for the public and free to members of the Friends.

Yin Yoga with Cheryl Meadors - Good for all levels!

Every Thursday 6-7:15 pm  Participation fee: $10 (cash only to instructor) 50% of proceeds benefit the Bridgman Library.

Early Literacy Programs

Mondays, Baby and Me (ages 1-2) at 10:45 a.m.

Tuesdays, Toddler and Me (ages 3-5) starts at 9:30 or 11:30 a.m.

Tuesdays, Story Hour (ages 3-5) is at 10:30 a.m.

Upcoming Library Closures

The library will be open Monday 3rd, CLOSED Tuesday, July 4 for Independence Day, and reopen Wednesday 5th.
