Styles 4 Kidz is a free program that provides high-quality hair care education ( no dye or heat) and services for African-American kids in foster care and transracial adoptive families. This program will assist to build a diverse community; these hairstyles will boost kids self-esteem and cultural pride. This event is in partnership with the St. Joseph and Benton Harbor Public Libraries.

This group does these projects because of a desire to give someone 'knitted love'. The group welcomes anyone who does needle crafts of any kind. It doesn't matter your level of expertise, beginner or master or no experience at all, the members would be happy to welcome you. So come join the gals for some knitting and crocheting fun. Donations of full or partial skeins of yarn are always welcome.

The group also meets every Monday and Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

Tips include, latest technology, apps, tech and gadgets; as well as lifestyle tips on healthcare, medical devices, organization, safety and fitness.

Cook and eat with your friends and brainstorm ideas together for fun at the library!

 

The Teen Advisory Board is for students ages 12 and up or in grades 6-12. TAB is for students who want to become more involved in the library. The group meets regularly with library staff to give input on book purchases, plan activities, volunteer at library events, and more!
