The Bridgman Public Library offers cards for residents and non-residents. Please bring a valid driver’s license and proof of residency when applying.

 

Public Computers & WiFi

Library desktop computer use – Free for anyone!

Wi-Fi inside & on the grounds – Free for anyone! Sign-on to: BPL Public Wifi, no password required.

Library Laptops – For resident & paid cardholders. Must stay within the building, there is a 2 hour limit with a $5 per hour late fine.

Tech Help By Appointment

For assistance using the library catalog, requesting interlibrary loans, downloading Libby/Hoopla items to your device or for basic computer/phone help. 

Registration for one 60-minute slot is required. Patrons are limited to two appointments per month.

Want to use our Makers Space to work on your own projects? Join us for OPEN CRAFT TIME!

3rd Wednesdays of the month, 3:30-7:30pm in the community room.  

Our Maker Space is open to the public for use of our art supplies, Cricut & 3D printer. 

Usage fees apply, for $10 you will get a punch card with 12 punches, each time you use Open Craft Time, one punch will be reduced.

All ages are welcome, children must have adult supervision.

Study Rooms

Available by appointment. 

North meeting room accommodates
8 – 10. 

South meeting room accommodates
1 – 4.

HomeBound Delivery

If you are unable to visit the library, please call to schedule an item delivery to your home.

Notary

Available for free by appointment. Donations to the library are always accepted.

 

Community Room

The Bridgman Public Library Community Room and Patio may be reserved by the residents and groups in the Bridgman Public Library service area. Please see the Community Room Policy and Rental Application for more information.

Community Garden

We have 48, 4′ x 8′ plots available for rent ($10/plot) on a first come, first served basis starting March 1st. Renewing gardeners receive first priority for plot rental if rented by February 29th. Mandatory work day: April 13th

Completion of a registration form is required each year. Complete the form, return it to the library and select a plot(s).

When renting, one must attend the organization / work day and volunteer 5 hours per season.

Gardeners should have their plots weeded and cleaned by November 1st.
