Local Resources

LOGAN Community Resources, Inc. serves adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism services, residential services, day programs, and employment services. 

Great Start Collaborative works to provide a network of resources that help families obtain services that will allow their children to succeed in every facet of their lives.

Lighthouse Education Center provides a positive learning environment, enabling students with severe emotional impairments and Autism to achieve and enhance self confidence, self-esteem, independence, social acceptance, intellectual and personal growth according to their Individualized Educational Program and Transitional Service Plan.

Michigan Alliance for Families provides information, support, and education for families who have children and young adults (birth to 26 years of age) who receive (or may be eligible to receive) special education services.

National Resources

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners in the United States

National PTA’s toolbox to help parents navigate all of the academic, social and emotional milestones children will experience.
