the Friends of the Bridgman Public Library

The Friends of the Bridgman Public Library (FoBPL) is an organization with 501c3 Non-Profit status. Its purpose is to unite people who are committed to enriching the services and activities of the Bridgman Public Library.

The FoBPL raises money through memberships and fundraisers. The Membership Drive takes place in June of each year, additionally the annual used book sale brings people in from all over the county. Other fundraisers may be organized during the course of the year.

The FoBPL also operates a “gently used” Book Shoppe within the Library. Available items include hardcover and paperback books for both children and adults, used CDs, DVDs and audio books. The Book Shoppe is open whenever the Library is open.

Funds raised by the FoBPL support special projects and fund many programs for the community.
